The gangplanks for entering and exiting the ship restrict wheelchair and buggy movement, requiring guests to be walk on and off the ship. A reasonable level of fitness is required on these tours. If you require a wheelchair, you must bring a collapsible one that can be stored in your stateroom. *Please be advised that some streets will be cobblestoned, certain attractions and the buses we use are not equipped or designed for wheelchair passengers.

The MS Amadante, MS Amacello, MS Amalegro, MS Amadagio, and Ms Swiss Pearl staterooms have safes. The MS Amadouro and MS Tolstoy do not have safes in their staterooms; However, the reception desk safe can be used onboard any of our ships.

All the ships have an open seating policy to ensure you have the opportunity to meet your fellow travelers.

Yes, we can accommodate special diets for gluten-free, low fat, sugar free and kosher (but not orthodox kosher). We cannot accommodate all modern health diet plans. Please make sure you notify the reservation agent of your special dietary needs and food allergies.

Yes, your passport is kept within the reception safe for immigration checkpoints during the evening. We recommend you keep a photocopy of your passport with you if you decide to explore the cities on your own. Your passport will be returned to you at disembarkation. The MS Swiss Pearl gives it back immediately.

How much tip do you recommend we leave for the crew?We recommend 3 Euros per passenger, per day for the Cruise Director and 12 Euros per passenger, per day for the crew.

Tea and coffee is available 24 hours. High tea is served daily mid-afternoon with cakes and pastries.

On board Internet service is free onboard the MS Amadante, MS Amacello, MS Amalegro and MS Amadagio and available in every stateroom with provided keyboard and monitor. This also includes wifi in the Aft lounge. MS Tolstoy does not have internet service on board. MS Swiss Pearl has Wi-Fi available onboard, but you must bring your own laptop. Cost: 3 Euros per 1MB. MS Amadouro has Wi-Fi available in the reception and bar areas. Cost: 1hr for 5 Euros.

The ship sails close to shore, in the event of an emergency, medical services can be requested at once. MS Tolstoy does have a doctor onboard for the entire cruise.

Yes. There is a fitness room equipped with cardio machines and hand weights onboard the MS Amadante, MS Amacello, MS Amalegro, MS Amadagio, MS Amadouro, and MS Swiss Pearl. Complimentary bicycles are available onboard the MS Amadante, MS Amacello, MS Amalegro, and MS Amadagio. Each of the ships has a limited supply of safety helmets for your use. The MS Amadouro, MS Swiss Pearl and MS Tolstoy do not have bicycles.

Yes. The MS Amadante, MS Amacello, MS Amalegro and MS Amadagio have an elevator that operates between the Violin and Cello decks. There is an elevator onboard the MS Amadouro that operates from the lower deck to the upper deck. The MS Swiss Pearl and MS Tolstoy do not have elevators. However, the MS Swiss Pearl and MS Amadouro have a chair lift to the Sun Deck.

Laundry service is available aboard all ships for a fee.

All the ships provide complimentary free-flowing local wine with every dinner onboard.

We recommend country club casual for dinner. There is one semi-formal evening onboard, the Captain’s Farewell Dinner; typically the second to last night, formal attire is not required.

May-August is summer throughout Europe and the average daytime temperature is 72° F. Layers of clothing should be worn to avoid over-packing. September-November is autumn throughout Europe and the average daytime temperature is 66° F.
